Quickstart Rotifer Cysts
We offer 15 varieties of rotifer cysts enabling fast, reliable restarts using rotifers that are free of contamination from other ciliates and rotifers. Our wide selection allows rotifer hatcheries to select and amplify rotifers tailored to the mouth gape of various larval prey.
Proales similis Live Eggs
Proales similis do not produce cysts. We offer live Proales rotifers that are ciliate free shipped within 1-2 business days to US locations.
Proales similis saline-preserved eggs
For non US customers, we offer Proales eggs that are preserved in saline solution. These eggs can survive the rigors of international shipment and are ciliate free.
Rotifer Feeds
Amplifeed(tm) Replete Rotifer and Artemia feed is a dry finishing feed used to enrich and "gut load" rotifers prior to harvest. We developed Amplifeed Replete to mimic the nutritional profile of zoo plankton vs. relying on a single algae species for micronutrients.
The result is a rotifer that has more vital micronutrients including astaxanthin which accelerates the growth rates and reduces mortality of larval prey.
Our feed is <8 microns, easy to eat helping to keep your water clean and minimizing contamination from other species consuming uneaten food.
