Shipping & Imports
Shipping: We offer a family of both live and dry feeds and supplements. Our packaging & shipping strategy is to ensure we deliver a fresh, viable product at the lowest possible cost. Our standard shipping for USA destinations is UPS and for non US locations, UPS World-Wide Express-Economy.
For Non US locations, UPS World-Wide Express includes customs brokerage service. Any import taxes, goods & services tax or import fees assessed by the local customs office are due and payable by the receiving party prior to release from customs. UPS will notify the receiving party of additional fees that are due and acts as the collections agent.
Some countries require US Department of Agriculture Heath Certificates to import any "live" animals. While resting rotifer cysts do not exhibit any metabolic activity until rehydrated, they may require this certificate. We can arrange for a USDA inspection for a $115 fee. Health Certificates. Any shipments of rotifer cysts to the EU requires that the health Certicate complies with Annex II of the following regulation: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg_impl/2020/2236/oj
Import authorities may also request Certificate of Origin (COO) certifying that the contents originated in the United States. We offer two COOs. A "self certified" COO is available at no charge. If the import authorities require certification of origin signed by the local Chamber of Commerce, there is an additional $50 fee.
Import authorities may request additional information on dry feeds and supplements. We provide detailed product descriptions and labels as well as copies of our Commercial Feed Manufacturing License and Certificate of Free Sales and COAs, if and as required.
